ringing a game like World of Warcraft to life takes more than just game designers, programmers and artists. Blizzard is at work day and night to make sure the game our developers created has the best service possible. World of Warcraft only exists because people from different teams with many different talents work together and combine their skills to create something which is more than the mere sum of its parts: a truly international team where every member can make a difference, where everyone can contribute to the success of World of Warcraft.
Now is your chance to become a member of this team. Our Game Masters are looking for talented individuals with excellent teamwork skills to expand our different language teams. Join Blizzard now and use your unique skills to help us make a great game even better!
As a GM, you will be working very closely with your colleagues and your superiors. Because of this, you cannot work from home - being a GM requires more than just to log on to World of Warcraft. This also means that all our GMs live and work in Paris, France, or Cork, Ireland, where the offices of Blizzard Europe are located. We realize that moving to a foreign country can be tough. That’s why we are doing everything we can to make this step as easy as possible for our new employees:
 |
- Blizzard will provide accomodations for one month to make it easier for you to move and get settled in.
- Blizzard will also provide you with the services of a specialized relocation agency that will help you with all the administrative tasks of moving, such as finding an apartment, opening a bank account, getting a phone line, and much more.
- Blizzard employees also receive many secondary benefits: discounts on membership fees for fitness centers, large discounts on PC and video games, private health insurance, and much, much more.
- The offices of Blizzard Europe were designed with the comfort of our employees in mind. Our large rest area features a kitchen, soda and snack machines with up to four free drinks per employee per day, and of course video game consoles with a frequent rotation of the latest games.

If you want to join Blizzard and if you have the skills we are looking for, then please send us your job application. There are a few things you should keep in mind when submitting your application:
- Specify which position you are applying for, as mentioned in each job description published here (for example, GM-DE or GM-EN). This may sound self-evident, but sometimes we receive great applications that unfortunately do not mention what position the sender is applying for.
- While we accept both standard mail and email, we strongly suggest sending in your application electronically as that will save us time and allows us to respond to your application more quickly and directly.
- Make sure to include a detailed and complete curriculum vitae. Also, please provide us with your contact details (telephone, email) so that we can get in touch with you.
- We also require applicants to submit a cover letter for their job application, telling us why they want this job and how they can contribute to the team.
- Additional material such as letters of recommendation, references and certificates are always welcome, but try to stay focused on things that relate to the job you are applying for. If you are emailing us, please use .PDF, .DOC or .RTF format.
