When a character changes races within their faction, some of their character-specific information is translated into those of their new race when appropriate.
Reputations
When a character changes races, their home city reputation level is swapped for the home city of their new race. For example, if a Night Elf character changed races to become a Draenei, the character's reputation levels with Darnassus and Exodar would switch values. All other reputations would remain as they were.

Reputations
When a character changes races, their home city reputation level is swapped for the home city of their new race. Mounts
When a character changes races (without changing factions), the character’s mounts are not affected. This also applies to the discontinued epic mounts such as the Ivory Raptor or Ancient Frostsaber.
