Parental Control

he Parental Controls have been implemented into World of Warcraft as a tool for parents to securely oversee their children’s playtimes. It will enable parents to set up a play schedule for their children, allowing them to determine when their children may or may not log on to the game.

In the past, it has often been difficult for parents to monitor the times when their children would play. With the help of the Parental Control feature, parents can now feel more secure when it comes to their children’s spare time and how it is used.

Once a parent has activated the Parental Control feature and set up a schedule, children will only be able to log in and play during the hours which their parents have set to permit play. If a child tries to log on outside of this time-frame, they will not be able to connect to the game.

Activating the Parental Control

The Parental Controls are very easy to activate and configure. To do so, simply follow the steps below:

  1. The account owner begins the process by accessing the account management site and providing the answer to the secret question set up during the creation of the account.
  2. Once the Account owner has been identified, he creates the “Parental Control Password”, by providing an e-mail address and a new password especially for the parental controls.
  3. A confirmation mail is sent to the Account owner at the e-mail address provided hereinabove.
  4. The Account owner is then able to set up a play schedule, either manually or by selecting from a choice of pre-made ones.
  5. Any modification to the Parental control (password, e-mail) has to be performed through phone support.

If you have any problems, please contact our Account and Billing department by phone between the hours of 10:30 am and 8 pm Paris time or fill out this webform to contact them by email.
