There are many factions that unlock special items and equipment for your character once you've earned their respect. Here are some examples:
- Argent Dawn - Improve your faction with them to unlock special items and rewards. You can do this by completing quests in Western Plaguelands, Eastern Plaguelands, Stratholme, and Scholomance. Eastern Plaguelands are filled with wicked creatures of the Scourge that can drop items called Scourgestones if you are wearing a token of the Argent Dawn. These stones can be returned to representatives of the Argent Dawn in repeatable quests to increase your reputation. Check out the rewards here.
- Brood of Nozdormu - When the Titans first descended on Azeroth, vanquishing the Old Gods and bringing order to the world, the Highfather of the Pantheon himself empowered the great dragon Nozdormu with some of his own cosmic powers, enabling the dragon to guard time itself and police the ever-spinning pathways of fate and destiny. And so, the stoic, honorable Nozdormu became known as the Timeless One. Ever since then, Nozdormu's Brood has guarded the timestream from all who would seek to disrupt its flow, guided by the Timeless One's wise, all-knowing counsel. Check out the rewards here.
- Thorium Brotherhood - Adventurers seeking out Thorium Point will find that the dwarves of the Thorium Brotherhood hold great rewards for those who aid them in their never-ending struggle against their former brethren. Check out the rewards here.
- Timbermaw Hold - The Timbermaw are painfully aware that they will not last on their own against the corruption of the land; adventurers who seek out Timbermaw Hold in northern Felwood and prove themselves as friends of the Timbermaw will learn that the furbolgs value their friends above all else. Check out the rewards here.
- Zandalar Tribe - The Zandalar tribe has arrived on the shores of Azeroth to battle Hakkar once again. Aid them and they will grant you powerful rewards. Check out the vendor rewards here and class quest rewards here.
- Darkmoon Faire - Players can earn tickets by doing repeatable quests that they can redeem for special rewards. Check out the rewards here and the buffs here.
- Cenarion Circle - War is brewing in the distant lands of Silithus. All over the world, men and women are gearing up for one final push into the heart of the Qiraji empire to end the threat which has been lying in wait, barely contained behind the barrier erected by the Night Elven druids and the mighty dragon Anachronos during the climactic battle at the end of the War of the Shifting Sands. Ever since that fateful day, the members of the Cenarion Circle have kept a close watch on the wastes from their base at Cenarion Hold at the center of northern Silithus. Check out the rewards here.

Horde players go to the Hall of Legends in Orgrimmar. Inside you'll find NPCs with cool things to buy. For the Battleground rewards you'll have to head to the entrances of the Battlegrounds to purchase some of the rewards (Warsong Gulch/Arathi Basin). While we don't feature every item on our site, here's some of the things you can buy:
If you wish to be a master craftsman, you will need to work hard and spend time perfecting your skills. Certain special recipes can only be collected in high level dungeons; the bosses within can sometimes hold plans for very powerful items. Once you have these recipes you will be able to create new items that you can use yourself, give to friends, help your guild, or sell to other players for a king's ransom.

Tried an "Alt"?
Now that you've powered up one character up to level 60, perhaps it's time to try out another class! It's much easier the next time around, as you now know where you're going and where to find quests and adventure. You can also spend some money to equip your low level character with powerful weapons and equipment to give yourself an edge. If you have played the Horde, you might try an Alliance character or vice versa.
