Upper Deck Entertainment's World of Warcraft TCG Darkmoon Faire began its real-world tour in Austin, Texas on April 27th and reached Europe (Frankfurt, Germany) on May 12th. Discovering Darkmoon Faire
With a loud bang, an impromptu fireworks display catapulted goblin-crafted explosives into the sky, and glowing stars of green and blue rained down on the cheering crowd. Wide-eyed and open mouthed, Lyxie stumbled between the brightly colored tents of the Darkmoon Faire, her footsteps winding among the other patrons, the noise of the crowd around her almost overwhelming. Different languages mingled with the aromas of food, filling the air with the sounds of people from near and far.
The Darkmoon Faire surrounded her, excitement and wonder beckoning at every turn, but the real challenge was at the very heart of the Faire – the Tournament. Carefully collected and arranged, each card known and loved, Lyxie hugged her Deck close as she pushed on through the crowd to where the tables were arranged. Her dream of competing with her own Deck at the Darkmoon Faire’s Card Tournament would soon come true...

Every Darkmoon Faire will offer plenty of demos of the Trading Card Game. There will also be beginner tournaments using the WoW TCG starter decks, so you can play even if you haven’t bought a pack yet.
More competitive players can sign up for the Darkmoon Faire Championship. The winner will receive a custom gaming desktop or laptop computer, while top finishers will win cool prizes including iPods and Xbox 360s. Every player who enters will get a new Extended Art promo card.
Need to take a break? Community representatives from Blizzard will be present to meet attendees, and there'll be plenty of space to arrange a meeting with your friends and guildmates. You'll also have the opportunity to play World of Warcraft on computer stations at the event.
