1. What kind of events can I submit?
You can submit every kind of event organized by players for players. The event should be open to a broad public and cannot in any way go against the Terms of Use, the End User License Agreement or our game policies. Please make sure that you are not disturbing the gameplay of other players that are not taking part in the event.
2. How can I submit an event?
All events should be submitted via the community web-form.
3. What information should I submit?
To be able to publish an event, we need all of the following information:
For in-game events:
- Name of the event
- Name of the organizer (name of a character, guild)
- Realm
- Date and time
- Location
- Link to a website or forum thread where all the information is written up and the organizer can update information
- A short description of the event
For real life events:
- Name of the event
- Name of the organizer (real name, organization, website or other contact person)
- Date (and time)
- Location (city, country)
- Link to a website or forum thread where all the information is written up and the organizer can update information
- A short description of the event
4. When should I submit my event?
The Community events calendar is updated weekly by the editorial team. If you want to be sure your event is on the website and other players see the event before it takes place, you should submit your event at least one week in advance (although if you submit it two weeks in advance, more people will have a chance to notice it).
5. What information is going to be published?
Basically the information we asked you to submit in will be published. The web team might edit your description slightly. If there is any problem with the description of your event please contact the community team. Please note that we might not be able to publish every event that is submitted.
6. Who can organize an event?
Anyone who is willing to commit some time into the planning and organization of an event. Usually it is better to have a team of several people to help with the organization of an event.
7. What do I do if I have problems during an in-game event?
Our in-game support team offers their usual 24/7 support. If there are other players disturbing your event by violating our game policy then the organizer of the event should submit a ticket. Please ensure that only one player submits a ticket, as if several people submit tickets reporting the same issue this will only slow down the work of the Game Master. Also keep in mind that an event will not receive any special treatment. We cannot answer your concerns any faster or treat you differently to normal players. For example, if you have a problem with players of the opposing faction on a PvP realm, this would not be an issue the Game Masters can help you with.
