The heat from the Burning Steppes was immense and almost overwhelming to the stalwart adventurers who had gathered in the name of the Alliance. Despite the blistering heat that they already felt, they knew that things were only going to get worse.

The great mountain loomed over them like a monolithic symbol of doom and word was quickly spreading of a Horde war party which had gathered on the other side, in the Searing Gorge. Both factions sought to control the mountain and fate, it seemed, had brought them together.

This would be a decisive battle – those who survived here today will have won a great victory for their people.

Apprehension, anticipation, and the smell of sweat radiated from the gathered masses on both sides; the Battle of Blackrock Mountain was almost upon them, and only one side was coming out alive...

A sharp breeze washes over the snow-laden hills, bringing cold and ice with it. The flakes of snow dance and float playfully as the wind passes again; falling softly to the ground to coat the area in another layer of pristine white.

Some flakes do not reach the ground though. Landing on the shoulders and heads of Humans and Orcs alike, these flakes are destined to melt on the heated bodies of the two vast armies who have gathered here. Representatives from every race across Azeroth stand on these icy fields of Alterac waiting to do battle.

Drums sound and tensions rise as both sides wait for the other to start the fight. Battle cries ring out and taunts are exchanged across to crisp, open landscape. The leader of the Horde group stomps his great Tauren feet into the already hard-packed snow and begins to give the order:

"Char—" He is cut off by the sudden arrival of a ball of snow in his face.

After a moment of hesitation and the sound of Dwarven laughter, this is taken as a sign to begin and within seconds there are snowballs flying in all directions.

There are no weapons here, only ice and snow. The Snow War has begun...

A gigantic PvP event of previously unseen proportions will soon take place. An event involving both factions on all realms of all regions!

This is a massive global PvP event to celebrate Winter's Veil, where the Horde and the Alliance will clash together in a mighty battle. It will be a glorious battle where the victor will be able to claim dominance for all time to come.

The battleground is the islands of Loch Modan. The Horde will occupy the northernmost island in the region, while the Alliance will camp out on the island just south of the Horde's. The objective is simple: each faction is to dominate the other faction's island without their own island being overrun.

The special thing about this event is that it will take place simultaneously on all realms, meaning that an identical battle will happen at the same place at the same time on each realm.

A lot of planning has gone into this event already and everything is explained quite well in this video.

More information about this event can be found here.

Remember: this is the event that will once and for all decide who are the n00bs and who are the uber-pwntastic.

Good luck, and a happy Winter's Veil to all!

Molthor shielded his eyes as the City on the Hill glinted in the sunlight. The stillness was beguiling, but in the air there was a sense of anticipation, as if the jungle itself was aware that plans were afoot and waits, impatiently, for the coming battle.

The old troll had watched in quiet admiration as this rag tag bunch of young ruffians had banded together in an attempt to overthrow the hold of the Bloodlord Hakkar and unite the trolls under a single empire once more in their ancestral capital, the like of which no one had witnessed since the days of Var'gazul, or so the propaganda went. Frankly he'd believe it when he saw it.

They had trained long and hard, and they seemed to have the loa with them, but Hakkar and his followers were not ones to be toyed with.

As midday approached, Molthor stirred from his resting place to make an offering to Zanza. This could shape up to be a very interesting day in the Vale.

In the distance, small campfires began to appear amongst the multitudes of Horde figures - groups of Orcs, Trolls and Tauren, some Undead keeping largely to themselves, and even a few Blood Elves.

"Cluck" said Plucky Johnson, almost sounding a little more nervous than usual.

Nazz Steamboil removed his helmet and flashed a toothy grin.
"I thought they were here to watch me beat the Gnomes for the third month in a row" commented the Goblin Dragster pilot, "but when they started sharpening their axes I figured they were after a different sport."

Over the past couple of weeks the Goblins and Gnomes of the Mirage Raceway had watched as more and more Horde clans and regiments poured into Shimmering Flats.
"It's only a matter of time before this all kicks off" said Pozzik, Goblin Engineer. "I got no problem with Horde and Alliance bashing each others brains out, generally it's all good for business. But if they touch my car I'll 'ave 'em!"

Not all were as ambivalent as the Goblins:
Trackmaster Zherin voiced his concerns: "I have to admit I'm a little concerned by this sudden build up in troops. The MRIOC will have my head if anything prevents the races from running on time."

"I put a call in" Wizzle Brassbolts, Goblin Engineer, remarked knowingly, "I know a guy who's got connections with the Alliance forces. They're on their way to clear this lot. They wouldn't let anything get in the way of the races. The technology we develop here fuels their war effort in Outland you know. Oh yes."

It's time to take a side, the Horde of Agamaggan are laying down the gauntlet for the Alliance. Come and show them what you're made of this Saturday!

The trolls are gathering and the tension is rising. The main gates of Orgrimmar are blocked by what can only be described as an ocean of blue and green skinned creatures.

It is rare to see so many Trolls gathered in one place, but it is not a coincidence that so many trolls are here today, for the purpose of this gathering is to train the young from the experience of their elders. Many of the trolls have sharpened their tusks and are covered in fierce warpaint, for they know that this will strike fear into the enemy, make the enemy hesitate and therefore make the enemy weak and exposed. At the end of this day the greatest combatants will be identified, and they will be venerated as the heroes who will restore glory to the Trolls. The Trolls are preparing for war!

The crowd is forming a ring as the preparations are about to complete. Two young yet eager Trolls enter the circle, evaluating their opponent as they get closer to each other at the centre. They build up momentum, readying their blades and stopping just a few feet from each other as silence befalls the crowd. They wait for the signal of their superiors… the war games will soon start.

General Marcus Jonathan surveyed the assembled rag-tag bunch of soldiers before him as they jostled and shuffled into their respective companies for what, he hoped, could form the backbone of a final killing blow against the Horde.

He turned to consult with his Marshals. The exact targets of the attack remained a very closely guarded secret. Horde spies were everywhere and if they got any hint of the plan it could spell disaster for them all.

This was undoubtedly a bold undertaking, but if successful, it could greatly weaken the Horde forces, leaving nothing but a little mopping up to do for the main Alliance force upon their return from Outland.

As the forces were stretched so thin, the soldiers before him had been conscripted from guilds and societies from all over the Alliance. Some were most certainly great and powerful adventurers who had proven themselves in countless battles helping the Alliance to key victories in places like Alterac Valley or Arathi Basin. Others though… "Well, every dog has its day", thought the General, smiling.

General Jonathan expected everyone to do their duty.

After hearing of the epic battle that ensued when the Orc pig farmers came to Stormwind town, the Tauren felt left out. So this Saturday they're taking their beef to the humans with a fresh new raid on Stormwind.

Not ones to rest on their laurels, the Orc farmers have now set their sights on the supposed impenetrable city of Ironforge the following week. We'll soon see how the Dwarven iron works hold up to pure Orcish blood fury when battle commences on the 17th.

Meanwhile, using their hi-tech Gnomish Listening Devices™, an elite band of Gnomes has gotten wind of the planned Orc attack on their adopted home. In retaliation they set about plotting a fearsome raid against the Orcs. Unfortunately, although smart, the Gnomes are not too familiar with Horde customs and geography and have plotted their raid against Thunderbluff instead of Orgrimmar. No matter! Much blood will be spilled - it matters not from whom it comes.

The World has not seen such carnage since the Second War!

When the cities are burning and the people scattered, the victors will be able to celebrate their fantastic triumph in a local village with great drinking, merry making and tales on how they vanquished their foes.

Pick a side and join the fight - only you can make the difference between glorious victory and crushing defeat! Our Community Events page has the vital statistics on these and other exciting events.

Times of peace are a great thing for most! Communities can grow and flourish, and the economy and culture can thrive. But peacetime is not a great thing for all… Idleness is a nightmare for those whose calling is combat and battle. Those restless souls who are destined for war and conflict are unable to settle down and commence a trade of peace; they must do other things to occupy their time and to ease the fury in their blood.

In peacetime there is little room for war, but that does not mean that there is no room for combat. In times of peace one can go adventuring and be rewarded with glory and fortune, and if one groups up with others of like mind, then there are virtually limitless possibilities and opportunities waiting. The almost forgotten horrors and wonders that are now only mentioned in songs of myth and legend can still be found, but only those who are strong and worthy enough will be able to face them and live to tell the tale.

Soon a group of adventurers will venture out to seek glory and fortune in the fiery depths of Molten Core. If they succeed, their names will be remembered in song and their deeds will serve as inspiration for the generations to come.

If you seek glory and wish to take part in this adventure, take a look here for more information.

Raiding places and drinking beer… Sometimes that is all the entertainment an orc can have. Especially if one is a lonesome orc pig-farmer living an otherwise tough and boring life under the hot and merciless sun of Durotar.

Soon there will be such entertainment for the common orc. The Human capital of Stormwind will be overwhelmed by an unending flood of naked green skinned brawlers, who would like nothing better than to bash some heads and cause some havoc. All in the name of good fun!

When the city of Stormwind is burning and the humans have been scattered, a party with lots of beer will take place just outside the puny human village of Goldshire.

With your help, this can be the biggest raid ever, so take a look here if you wish to be a part of this green skinned party-raid... FOR THE HORDE!!!

The old Night Elf priest sat in deep contemplation as The White Lady began to climb into the sky over the Veiled Sea. Around him many other night elves were praying, singing, dancing or, like himself, locked in thought. Among the night elves were many representatives from other races, but at a time like this he barely noticed them. As long as they were respectful they could come and go as they please.

It was a time of great turmoil - the battle against the Burning Legion waged ever on in the far flung, yet all together too-near, Outland. Azeroth was still infested with the Scourge and servants of the Old Gods, and to top it all off there were rumblings of an even greater threat from the long abandoned continent of Northrend.

Elune was needed, now more than ever.

On the 28th of October Amiel Nightwhisper, of the Shadow Sentinels, invites you to celebrate Moon's Rise at Zoram Strand on the Moonglade realm.

Heroes don't start out as heroes. A hero is something one must become. Any hero will tell you this and, if a "hero" tells you otherwise, then he has probably been drinking too much ale at the inn while telling half-true tales of his deeds and adventures... In fact drunken heroes might not even be heroes at all when the time to pay the piper comes.

Every brave and righteous soul has the potential of becoming a hero; however, becoming a hero is not an easy task. It requires a lot of work and training before one can even begin the good deeds and quests that will eventually help one attain the rank of "Hero."

A good way to start on the heroic path is to participate in Tournaments. In Tournaments a potiential hero can learn the fine arts of combat and -- given enough time and training -- can eventually come to master the art of combat. A good knowledge of combat is essential for heroes in these dark times.

If you are brave and seek the glory and fame that only a true hero can possess, then this will be welcome news for you: A Tournament will come soon and, if you can manage to win it, then you will be well on the path to becoming a great hero.

Fear and death are a part of life and everybody will be touched by one of these at some point. But life should not be lived in fear, and death should be embraced with serenity when the time comes. Life is precious and a joyful thing, but it is also very fragile so one must guard the good from the things that are bad.

Laugh at what is scary, and the fear loses its power. That is the philosophy behind the Scarecrow's Night.

If your soul is vexed and your life is clouded with fear and worries, then you must come and take part, for the Night of the Scarecrow is for you.

A cool breeze disturbs the trees with a soft rustle. The indigenous creatures of the area go about their daily business like any other day, unaware of the intruder who lurks amongst them.

The ground rumbles slightly and the smaller animals scatter for safe haven. The thundering sound of great footsteps draw closer and the great Devilsaur known as King Mosh comes into view.

The hunter raises his weapon, confident that he has not been spotted. His breathing slows and he feels as though there is nothing in the world but he and his prey. The perfect moment approaches and he prepares to fire…

…another breeze causes the sun to break through the canopy briefly and the light glares off the hunter's weapon; alerting the great Devilsaur to his presence. With a terrible cry the beast is upon the hunter and the dreaded King Mosh claims another victim.

Adnaw of the Cult of the Raptor is offering you the chance to safari into the very heart of Un'Goro to hunt your own Devilsaur. Perhaps one who is brave and skilled enough can bring down the terror known as King Mosh.

It's Very Very Big Game Hunting II: King Mosh's Revenge!

On 1st September, the most beautiful gnome ladies from all over Azeroth will arrive in the picturesque Stormwind Park to compete in Miss Gnomeregan, the most prestigious festival to recognise the talents and achievements of young gnomes.

As spectators partake of the finest haute cuisine that Norseman of the Lightbringer Tavern can provide, the beautiful young ladies, arrayed in their finery, will be strutting their stuff before a panel of famous faces from all walks of Alliance life.

But do not assume that this is nothing more than a superficial beauty contest. Nothing could be further from the truth!
The judging panel will be rating the young gnomes over four rounds not only on their stunning good looks, but their individual talents and personality as well.

Who will be crowned Miss Gnomeregan?

Voks had been staring at the float for what felt like hours. Why weren't the fish biting? Perhaps he should try moving further up the coast?
He took a brief moment to glance around at his competition. Zarfan was stood a few meters down the coast casting his line casually into the water. A quick count of the fish in Zarfan's basket didn't look too many, perhaps he still had a chance.

Voks felt a tug at his wrist and snapped his vision back to his float. It was nowhere to be seen!
Slowly, Voks started to put pressure on the reel, this was a monster and he didn't want to snap the line on his new Arcanite Fishing Pole.
Gradually, he wound the line back in. Inch after inch appeared from the muddy Durotar Ocean. There was the float.
Voks raised the rod. A Longjaw Mud Snapper! Nat Pagle himself would be proud!

Who will be crowned ‘King of da Feesh' in the Fourth Argent Dawn Durotar Feeshing Expoganza this Sunday?

Gnomes… If not strange little creatures possessed by the magic of machinery and gadgets, then what are they?

The truth is that no one really knows the answer to this question, because to truly understand a gnome, one must be a gnome. The eccentric and often-brilliant gnomes are one of the most peculiar races of the world, and because of their obsession for mind-bending engineering and technology, they are often considered harmless by most other races.

But little is actually known about gnomes and their culture, which is why no one can explain why gnomes at times turn their backs on civilized behavior and become quite aggressive for no apparent reason. They become dangerous to everyone and everything around them, and even dangerous to themselves, and they will do strange things such as gathering in masses for brutal events and massive brawls.

One such brutal event is the massive "Last Gnome Standing" event, where heaps of gnomes will clash and fight until only one remains.

An eerie hush fell over Thunderbluff. The usual hustle and bustle of Friday evening auction activity was curiously absent as Vard stalked through the empty streets and over the quiet bridges.

Moonpie twitched nervously. A million thoughts ran through her head: She was safe for now, but what if she were discovered? Vard wouldn't rest until he had found all the Tauren. Her hiding place had seemed like an inspired idea when she selected it, but now it felt tight. The walls were beginning to close in on her. She was becoming convinced that she would be found.

Her thoughts were interrupted as she spied Vard rounding the corner and caught her breath. The troll stared around menacingly, his eyes penetrating every nook and cranny. She felt sure he would discover her any second…

How easy is it to hide a Tauren?

Thrall thumped the table in anger, glaring round at his Warlords.

"The war with the Alliance in Outland does not go well. As soon as we gain a victory on one front, the Alliance secures a foothold in another territory."
Thrall paused.

"What we need is to make one strong forceful strike against our three most prized objectives. Call up the reinforcements, on Sunday we will take the Bone Wastes, Zangarmarsh and Halaa ... for the Horde!"
"For the Horde!" The cry resounded from the great hall as all the assembled Warlords responded.

By a fateful coincidence, a council of Alliance Marshals taking place at the same time had just reached the same conclusion.
"Every push on one front leaves us weak on another."
"What we need is a concerted effort on three fronts at once. Drive the blighters back once and for all."

It seems fate has conspired to unleash an epic Battle for Outland on The Venture Co realm this Sunday the likes of which has never been seen.

An elaborately bordered parchment decorates many walls of Stormwind City:

Dearest Citizens of our fair city.

With wars, there is always a price, and usually it is the lives of good men and women that are given to pay it. Through many centuries have we always honoured the dead who have died for our people, for our lands, for the Alliance.

The Silvermoon Crusade is no exception to this tradition. Thus, by order of the Stormwind City Council, a Mass Funeral shall be held on Sunday the 17th of June within the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind City. This funeral will give all to thank the dead for their sacrifices, and for everyone to see they are not alone in their grief for those who have been lost.

A prayer will be lead by Carinne Digory at 21:00, though we ask that those who wish to attend show up earlier to settle down into places so that all are ready to pay their respects. After the prayer, everyone is free to make their own personal farewells or to return to their business.

The Council humbly requests that people show reasonable respect in their clothing. Mourning clothes are preferable and a lack of weapons would also show respect.

The fallen will forever be Stormwind's finest.

Lady Maria Allens
Magistrate and City Councillor

Scary and horrible things happen at scary and horrible places during the night… The only problem is that you are normally sleeping or spending time in pleasant places at night and are therefore not there to witness all those scary and horrible things… unless you are the one doing the scary and horrible deeds of course.

But not to fear (well maybe a little), for now you have an opportunity to see the horrors that you normally miss, and the best part is that you get to see it while being close to others like yourself so you will not get too frightened and run away. A social gathering, if you will, at some of the spookiest and darkest places in Azeroth. This Friday is special! A comic special!

Chidori is going strong with her tale about Lockwart's school. Remember to come back for the thrilling end to the story.

Did anyone else miss when and how the cow got tied to the deck? The journey continues anyway, in Looking For Group.

Someone has problems with Nightbane in Karazhan.

Aww! This is so cute!

And another kind of special:
It is rare indeed, but it can happen that one's path will lead to a tome of beauty that can truly distort the boundaries of reality and fiction. One might even say that it can change the route and destination of one's path. Recently WoW Stratics hosted a live chat with the WoW developers where players could ask questions to the developers about pretty much anything WoW-related. To those of you who missed this chat event, you can read the chat logs here. They contain a lot of interesting information and feedback from the developers.

We have some interesting news for those of you who are playing the WoW Trading Card Game. Upperdeck Entertainment has provided a few previews on some of the cards that will appear in the upcoming Molten Core raid deck.

The WoW Insider has posted a touching article about a very sick 10 year old boy named Ezra Chatterton, who wants to play World of Warcraft. Ezra's life is not easy, but at least his wish was granted and he got to spend a long day at the Blizzard HQ in the US, where, among other things, he got his own personal character, a weapon, and a quest.

World of Warcraft Dance Videos... We have all seen such videos before, so it is usually nothing spectacular when a new Dance Video hits the web. Even though this Dance Video is similar to its predecessors, it is still worth a mention because it is very well made.

World of ComicCraft:

It is early morning and a tradesman tours the still empty streets of Stormwind looking for good places to hang his posters. His mouth is full of nails and he carries a hammer in his hand. He finds an open square in the trade district with a large tree at its center. He stands in front of the tree, looks at it briefly, and then pulls out a poster from the inside of his tunic. He takes a nail from his mouth and uses the hammer in his hand to nail the poster to the tree. He checks that the poster is properly attached and then he walks away to find another suitable place to hang another poster. The poster now hangs on the tree waiting to be read by the citizens of Stormwind. The text on the poster reads as follows:

"Trinkets and gadgets and oddities
From more worlds than just one
Food and drink and specialities
Come buy them before they are gone.

The market day will happen soon.

Schwick's Corner
92 is the number of times that Warcraft Weekly has appeared on our forums, which is an interesting coincidence, because those of you who are interested in history should know that in the year 92 A.D., the Legio XXI Rapax was destroyed by the Sarmatians of Pannonia.

The Community's Review is back yet again this week, and this time you can let us know what you think about the following things:
Download System
Mail System

This thread is for you If you are seeking knowledge about future patches.

And now is the time for the 6th edition of Pimp My UI!

Please remember that if you come across any interesting, fun or otherwise good threads on the forums, then nominate them here for next week's Forum Watch.

The Forums In All Their Glory:
We should start of with something important this week: How to spot a scammer. The fear of getting scammed is a big problem, especially when you are frequently trading expensive materials with other players. Getting scammed is a horrible game-breaking experience for many, and it is absolutely no fun to be the victim of such a misdeed. Therefore, it is a good thing to know how to identify scammers and their most commonly used methods of cheating others, which is exactly what this guide written by Silverwynd of Eonar can help you with.

And another little useful thread is this one: Things Warriors want non-Warriors to know!

Berserking and good looks... These are only two out of many things that Troll Priests bring to the table; Pálmar of Dunemaul has written about the viability of Troll Priests in raids.

Illuvator of Karazhan has created this list of powerful quests, which aim to help those who are wondering about which quest rewards they can get at their current level. Illuvator has also posted his World PvP journals.

Guild recruitment threads are a common sight on the realm forums, but that doesn't mean that such threads have to be boring. This guild recruitment thread is particular funny and creative, and this is good news indeed if you are playing on the Darkmoon Faire realm, because that means that you can apply for membership.

And we have a new and fun forum game for you to participate in, which has been started by Cataphract of Runetotem: Picture This! (Read the rules before you post).

And to finish off this week's Forum Watch, we have a complete and utterly irrelevant off-topic thread for you: Phobias - Discover what YOUR fear is called.

Have a Super-di-de-li-uper week everybody!

The ground trembles and is shaken by the heavy march of the armies approaching the battlefield. The air is full of dust and anticipation, and the nearby wildlife flees in terror... The battle is near.

Thousands of swords and shields are glistening in the sun, armors and tabards of many colors strike fear in the heart of the enemy. Warriors are flexing their muscles and tightening their grip on their weapons. Archers are aiming their bows and magicians are preparing their magics, silently mouthing the words of their spells... Silence follows as the armies wait for the battlecry of their commanders.

Nothing can be heard except for the wind and the occasional screech of the starving vultures flying above... Silence... And then it begins. The commanding battlecry roars over the battlefield full of vigour and determination: CHAAAAAARRRGGEE!!!!

The armies brutally clash against each other and hundreds fall within the first moment of the battle, yet it is still too soon to say who will claim victory... Perhaps it will be you, the hero, who decides the outcome of this war?

Rejoice... For Warcraft Weekly has blessed us yet again for the 91st time! And those who like to travel might like to know that 91 is the number of an American interstate, which is a freeway that runs from Connecticut to Vermont.

In the Community's Review of this week, you can let us know what you think about the following things:

First Aid
Fishing
Cooking

If you are seeking knowledge about future patches, then this thread is for you.

And now for the 5th time: Pimp My UI!

And please remember that if you come across any interesting, fun, or otherwise good threads on the forums, then nominate them here for next week's Forum Watch.

The Forums In All Their Glory:
Ever done something utterly stupid, be it on purpose or by mistake? If so, then tell us about your embarrassing moments in this thread.

Fabraz of Nazjatar has created two threads now displaying his drawing and painting skills; others artists are of course encouraged to post their opinions as well as their own works of art.

Some people might deny it, but everybody was a n00b at some point in time.

Are you an altaholic, or are you more of a one-char kind of person? Tell us here.

If you like PvP and the Arenas, then this project to take the EU Arena community to the next level might be of interest to you.

And now for something completely off-topic: Deí gives you: METALVIDEOS!

Have a scrumptious week everybody!

Warcraft Weekly is here for the ninetieth time, and what it lacks in length it makes up for in... shortness?!? It is also noteworthy to remember that 90 was the year Ptolemy was born :-)

In the Community's Review of this week, you can tell us what you think about the following subjects:

Pimp My UI is back for the forth time and it can turn your user interface into pure Bling Bling.

And please remember that If you come accross any interesting, fun or otherwise good threads on the forums, then nominate them here for next week's Forum Watch.

The Forums in All Their Glory:
It is common to write about one's class concerns on the forums when one's favorite class is not performing the way one would like. However, sometimes it can look like one's concerns thread get drowned out and go unnoticed among the many other similar threads on the forums. Our Shamans have tried to remedy that by being extra creative on their class forum. They have created a Draw it thread, where they illustrate their concerns in an attempt to make things more clear.

So... what is your favorite emote in the game?

Fun quests... Are there too few or too many of them? Would do you think about this subject?

Vanio of Aerie Peak has made another song for the community, and this time it seems to be a message of luv.

What is the most expensive item you have ever sold or bought in the game?

And here is something good for those of you who like a good story now and then: Avann of Darkmoon Faire has written a story about a blood elf in the Scripts of a Sin'dorei.

Have a great week everybody!

Friday is the day of the week where the news of the community is shared with the world. Rejoice and never fear, for the community news is here. :-)

World of Comiccraft:
The Sunwell Trilogy written by the talented author Richard A. Knaak, is a trilogy of comic books that is available in printed form. But if you cannot get it in a comic book store near you at this moment in time, then you can read the first two chapters of the first book "Dragon Hunt" right here.

Despair and gloom... My mother cancelled my WoW account!

What would you say if someone asked you this question: "Want to test drive the new Tauren flying mount?"

*sniff* A touching farewell speech.

Aeus seems to be a bad boy... perhaps :-)

Which is the most profitable profession? Find out here!

Fan sites:
WoW Stratics are currently running a contest in this week's podcast, so make sure to listen and get your entry in :-)

Our Danish fansite WoWi.dk have now reached 5000+ users and among those 5000 users there are some new players, which the WoWi crew have decided to help by giving these new players a good WoW experience. The WoWi crew will form a guild for the new players to help them getting started.

The planned help will involve the following:

  • Making parties where at least one player is an experienced WoW gamer
  • An experienced WoW gamer will be online until the new players reach level 20 so that there will be a direct in-game "What to do?" person available
  • All new players will be given 1 gold to help them getting started
Have a look here for more information on this new guild. (The news is in Danish)

Many of you have probably heard about the Real Life Darkmoon Faire that will soon be coming to Frankfurt. Our good friends at LanCraft have created a small information page for when the Darkmoon Faire will come to Birmingham.

Other Stuff:
This is a Blizzard fan art competition entry that didn't get submitted. A shame really, because it is a fantastic piece of digital art.

This is not particularly World of Warcraft related, but we thought it was interesting nonetheless. A map of Online Communities.

Esa of Sunstrider has created a promotion video for her realm. It is a music video containing nostalgic footage from times past, the present, and the time to come :-)

Anderson Productions is producing the biggest movie on World of Warcraft ever and you can star in it! Interested? Then have a look here!

A tournament is a glorious thing... Great warriors and heroes compete for Glory and Honour with the risks of losing face and being ridiculed for their weaknesses. Broken bones, missing teeth, shredded flesh, lost limbs or even loss of life is a part of the game...A game where only the toughest and strongest has a chance of winning.

The thrill of the fight is common amongst our players and many of them are frequently creating tournaments to compare their skills and to gain fame. One such tournament will soon take place on the realm of Darkmoon Faire, where members of the Horde will get an opportunity to prove their worth.

Remember, if you want to promote an event, you can use our webform.

And we should most certainly not forget about Dreez of Magtheridon, who has created this amusing and action packed PvP video.

Guild recruitment is a common thing and usually, when a guild is in need of new members, that guild announces their recruitment campaign in the guild recruitment channel in-game and on the realm forums as well as the guild recruitment forum.

But sometimes guilds are creative and make an extra effort when they recruit; like this guild on Sporeggar, for example, who have combined their recruitment campaign with a glorious in-game world PvP raid event. If you want to know more, take a look here.

The World of Zach adventure continues… with a Garlic Goat Kebab!
